30 Years of Solutions

Advanced Computer Solutions Ltd. (ACSL) was founded in 1981 by computer professionals.  From the beginning, we specialized in providing computer solutions to business challenges. 

Our technical staff has worked with multiple operating systems and several different programming languages. We've installed hundreds of computer systems and completed dozens of system conversions.  We have the knowledge and experience to tackle any technical challenge.

We've worked with a number of different businesses over the years but our focus now is almost exclusively on retail - hence the name change to ACSL Retail Systems earlier this year.

We actually completed our first retail installation in 1982.  It was a multi-store inventory control system we developed ourselves.  It interfaced to NCR cash registers.  That system eventually evolved to using PCs for cash registers.  We discovered CounterPoint SQL in 2005 and were so impressed by its features, flexibility, and ease of use that we immediately signed up as a Radiant Retail Partner.

Today we have over 130 stores running CounterPoint SQL (including most of our original retail customers).  These run the gamut of retail businesses, from camera and garden stores to wine and yarn shops. 

The one thing that hasn't changed in 30 years is our commitment to service.  We are proud to report that we still serve some of our earliest customers.  That is pretty significant when you consider the changes in technology we've seen in that time.
